Memorial GroupsThe small groups of Memorial offer our members, friends, and community neighbors an opportunity to enjoy a favorite hobby such as crafts and reading, or a place for people to gather for lunch and fellowship. The groups can meet monthly, quarterly, or as often as they like. Grace Gathering Grace Gathering is a church group of women who meet monthly, usually on the first Wednesday of each month, to participate in prayer, Bible study and sharing with one another surrounded by an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement. We rotate the leadership of the lessons from month to month, and the meetings are held either at church or at a member’s home.
Their regular program year schedule is the first Thursday of the month at
12 noon. We bring a sandwich and enjoy dessert and coffee together. Pastor Heidi leads us in Bible study followed by our business meeting. We have a men's auxiliary meet with us. Visitors, women and men, are welcome at all our meetings so please accept our invitation and join us. Their first regular meeting in the fall will be on Thursday, September 9th., from then on, the meetings will be on the first Thursday. Book Club: We have the schedule for the next several months available. Please click on the link for more information. The Occasional Craft Group: Volunteer instructors from our church have met on Sunday afternoons with a group who enjoys learning a craft technique that they can master in the time that they are together. We have made cards, appliquéd shirts and sweatshirts, decorated cakes, and made many more things over the years. The Crochet Class: Mildred Schumacher, an instructor with many years of teaching experience leads this class on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m.–8:30p.m. Members of Memorial as well as community neighbors of different faiths attend this class. If you or anyone you know would be interested, please contact the church office. Whitefish Bay Kung Fu Club: Meets on Wednesday evenings from 5-7:00 PM and on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to noon.
